THE LAST AYAT OF EVERY CHAPTER

The path of those whom You have blessed, not those who have incurred the wrath, nor the misguided.

God does not burden a soul beyond capacity. Each will enjoy what (good) he earns, as indeed each will suffer from (the wrong) he does.        [Therefore ask in your prayers:] “Lord please do not punish us for our sins and shortcomings. Lord; please do not try us with more difficult trials than the ones before us. Lord please do not make us go through the difficulties that we are not capable of standing them; pardon us and forgive us. You are our Lord; then help us [your soldiers] to overcome the disbelievers.”

O you who believe! Be patient (persevere through what befalls you in the world in God’s cause);  stand firmly on guard/steadfast, and fear and obey God, perhaps you succeed/win.

People, be mindful of your Lord, who created you from a single soul, and from it created its mate, and from the pair of them spread countless men and women far and wide; be mindful of God, in whose name you make requests of one another. Beware of severing the ties of kinship: God is always watching over you.

Control of the heavens and earth and everything in them belongs to God: He has power over all things.

He it is Who has appointed you vicegerents over the earth (to improve it and rule over it according to God’s commandments), and has exalted some of you over others in degrees (of intelligence, capacity, and then wealth and status): thus He tries you in what He has granted you. (Always remember that) your Lord is the most swift in retribution (when it is due), and assuredly, He is the All-Forgiving, the All-Compassionate (especially toward those who turn to Him in repentance as His believing servants).

Indeed, those in heaven's realm who are in the August presence of Allah, your Creator, are not too proud to adore Him with appropriate acts and rites; they praise Him and extoll His glorious attributes and prostrate themselves to Him in veneration.

As for those who chose to believe and joined you later and strove with you, are your people. However, [do not forget that] in the Book of God, those who are related to each other with blood, have a higher degree of relationship [than those who are brothers in religion] as God knows everything [to the fullest detail.]

So if they turn their backs, say: 'God is enough for me. There is no god but He. In Him I have put my trust. He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.'

And follow what is revealed to you, and remain patient and steadfast in your way until God gives His judgment. And He is the best in giving judgment.

To God belongs (absolute dominion and full knowledge of) the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and to Him alone is the whole matter referred (for final judgment). So worship Him, and put your trust in Him. Your Lord is by no means unaware and unmindful of what you do.

Verily in the histories of the prophets and their people there is an instructive example for men of wisdom. There are many lessons in their stories to be learnt by those people who use their mind. This is not a fabricated story. Qur’an confirms all previous Scriptures, gives details of everything (which is required for the success of man), is a guidance, and a mercy for those who have chosen to believe.

The disbelievers say, "You are not a (Noble) Messenger (of Allah)"; proclaim, "Allah is a Sufficient Witness between me and you, and so is he who has knowledge of the Book."

This (Qur’an) is a universal Message for mankind. Let them all know that He is the One and Only One God. May those who are blessed with intelligence come to their senses and take this warning seriously.

And serve your Lord until certainty (death) comes to you.

for God is with those who are mindful of Him and who do good.

And say, `All true and perfect praise belongs to Allâh Who has not taken to Himself a son, and Who has no associate-partner in His kingdom, nor has He any helper because of any weakness. And exalt Him with His immeasurable greatness.

Proclaim, "Physically I am a human* like you - my Lord sends divine revelations to me - that your God is only One God; so whoever expects to the meet his Lord must perform good deeds and not ascribe anyone as a partner in the worship of his Lord."
* Human but not equal to you, in fact the greatest in spiritual status.

And how many generations before them have We destroyed? Can you (now) find a single one of them, or (even) hear a whisper of them?

Say: "Each one awaits the consequence; so you wait. You will come to know soon who are the men of the straight path and who have come to guidance.

(The Messenger) said (in conclusion): "My Lord, judge (between me and those unbelievers) with truth (and allow the truth to be fully manifested). Our Lord is the All-Merciful, the One Whose help is ever sought against all that you falsely attribute (to Him and me)."

And strive hard for Allah with due striving. He has chosen you and has not laid upon you any hardship in religion -- the faith of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims before and in this, that the Messenger may be a bearer of witness to you, and you may be bearers of witness to the people; so keep up your prayer and pay the poor-rate and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector; excellent the Protector and excellent the Helper.

And say: My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of those who show mercy.

Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. He knows what you are engaged upon. On the Day when they are returned to Him, He will inform them of what they did. Allah has knowledge of all things.

Say: My Lord would not care for you, were it not for your prayer. Now indeed you have rejected, so the punishment will come.

Except those (poets) who believe and do deeds of righteousness and who mention the greatness of Allâh over and over again and who retaliate (and defend themselves) only after they are done injustice to. Behold! those who acted unjustly will soon know to what (a wretched) end they are heading for.

Also say: "All praise and gratitude are for God. Soon He will show you His signs (which will prove that whatever He has decreed is true), and you will come to know them." Your Lord is never heedless and unmindful of whatever you do.

And call not, besides Allah, to another god. There is no god but He: Everything (that lives) shall die except His Own Face. To Him belongs the Command, and to Him will (all of) you be brought back.

As for those who do jihad in Our Way, We will guide them to Our Paths. Truly Allah is with the virtuous.

So be patient; surely God’s promise (that He will help the believers to victory) is true. And do not let those who lack certainty (of this truth) belittle you (or shake your firmness).

With God alone rests the knowledge of the Last Hour (when it will come). He sends down rain (just at the time and place He alone knows), and He alone knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will reap tomorrow, and no soul knows in what place it will die. Surely God is All-Knowing, All-Aware.

So withdraw from them (do not care what they do and say), and wait (for the judgment to come); they too are waiting.

(It is for) God to punish the hypocrites (M), and the hypocrites (F), and the sharers/takers of partners (with God) (M), and the sharers/takers of partners (with God) (F), and God forgives on the believers (M), and the believers (F), and God was/is forgiving, merciful.

A barrier has been placed between them and their longings (and they will fail to see the realization of their hearts desire , as was done with the people similar to them before (this). They (too) suffered from disquieting doubts.

If God were to punish people [at once] for the wrong they have done, there would not be a single creature left on the surface of the earth. He gives them respite for a stated time and When the end of their term falls, He deals with them according to the nature of their deeds.

Therefore, glory be to Him in Whose hand lies the perfect control of every thing, and towards Whom you shall all be made to return.

and praise be to God the Lord of all the Worlds.

And you -people- who refuse to acknowledge it shall come to know in due course the truthfulness after a certain time.

You will see the angels circling round the Throne, glorifying their Lord with praise. It will be decided between them with truth. And it will be said: ‘Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.’

But the belief or the repentance after the inevitable [death or punishment of God] is not acceptable. The fact of the matter is: “The disbelievers are always doomed.”

In truth they are in doubt that they will ever face their Lord. Do they not know that He surrounds all things?

The path of God, to whom belongs everything in the heavens and on the earth. Know that the final decision belongs to God.

shun them then and say, "Peace!" for soon they shall know!'

Wait [to get your share], as the disbelievers are waiting [to get their share] too.

True greatness in the heavens and the earth is rightfully His: He is the Mighty, the Wise.

So have patience, as men of resolution, the messengers, had patience, and seek not to hasten on for them (their doom). On the day when they see that which they are promised, No one else will be destroyed except the evil doing people.

You are surely those called upon to spend (of your wealth) in God’s cause; yet among you are some who are niggardly. But whoever is niggardly is niggardly only to the depriving of his own soul. God is the All-Wealthy and Self-Sufficient (absolutely independent of any need), and you are the poor (in need of Him). If you turn away (from true faith and piety), He will replace you with other people - and they will not be like you.

Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the disbelievers, compassionate among themselves. You see them kneeling and prostrating, seeking God’s bounty and His good pleasure: on their faces they bear the marks of their prostrations. This is how they are pictured in the Torah and the Gospel: like a seed that puts forth its shoot, becomes strong, grows thick, and rises on its stem to the delight of its sowers. God promised those who believed and made/did the correct/righteous deeds from them, forgiveness and a great reward.

Verily, Allâh knows the hidden realities of the heavens and the earth (all that is beyond human perception and knowledge in them). And Allâh sees all your deeds.

Indeed We (God) know what the disbelievers say. You (Mohammad) are not in a position to oblige them to embrace Islam. Your only task is to remind those who fear my threats to mind my warnings (to them) with this Qur’an.

Woe to the faithless for the day they are promised!

And in the night-time also glorify Him, and at the receading of the stars.

You should better prostrate yourselves before Allâh and start serving Him.

The Pious- In a place of true honor: At the presence of the Most Powerful King

Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficience.

Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Incomparably Great.

(You will be so treated) lest the people of the Scripture should think that they (- the Muslims) have no control over the attainment of the grace and bounty of Allâh and (so that they should know) that grace and bounty is entirely in the hands of Allâh; He bestows it upon such as wishes to be granted it (and strives for it). And Allâh is the Lord of immense grace and bounty.

You shall find no nation believing in Allah and the Last Day loving anyone that opposes Allah and His Messenger, even though they be their fathers, their sons, their brothers, or their tribe. Those, He has written upon their hearts faith and strengthened them with a spirit from Him. He will admit them to the Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live for ever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. They are the Party of Allah; and the Party of Allah are the winners.

He is Allah, the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner: His are the most beautiful names. Whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares His glory; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

O you who believe! do not make friends with a people who have incurred the displeasure of Allâh. They are indeed despaired of the Hereafter (since they have no faith in it), just as the disbelievers are despaired of those who are in the graves (as they do not believe that the dead will ever come to life again).

O you who believe! Be helpers of God(’s cause and Messenger), even as Jesus son of Mary said to his disciples: "Who will be my helpers (on this way) to God?" The disciples said: "We are the helpers (in the cause) of God." And so it happened that some of the Children of Israel believed (in him and his Message) and others disbelieved (thus becoming two groups). So We strengthened those who believed against their enemies, and they became the uppermost.

Yet (it happened that) when they saw (an opportunity for) business or pastime, they broke away for it and left you standing (while preaching the sermon). Say: "What is with God is better (for you) than pastimes and business. God is the Best to be sought as provider with the ultimate rank of providing."

Know that God knows what you are doing and He will not give any extra time in the moment to the person whose time has come to leave.

He knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception - as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind - the Almighty, the Wise!

It is Allah who has created seven heavens, and of the earth [a number] similar to them. The command gradually descends through them, that you may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah comprehends all things in knowledge.

Another example of believers is Mary, daughter of Amran, who [unlike what the Jews claim] guarded her virginity. Then I (God) placed inside her body a Spirit of Mine. She believed in the words of her Lord and His Books and she was one of the Lord abiding people.

Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?"

Know that this Qur’an is nothing but a reminder sent by God to all intelligent creatures of the worlds (to rise to eminence for all nations).

So celebrate the Name of your Lord, the All-supreme.

Submissive will be their be holdings (i.e., gazes). They will be oppressed by humbleness. That is the Day which they were promised.

Lord, forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer. Forgive believing men and women, and do not increase the wrong-doers except in destruction.

Surat Al-Jinn: Except to His chosen Noble Messengers – so He appoints guards in front and behind him. (Allah gave the knowledge of the hidden to the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.)   He will choose messengers among themselves and put guards around them to know whether or not they have delivered the message. God is fully aware of his messengers’ activities and keeps a count of each and every thing.

Your Lord knows that you stand (in prayer) for nearly two thirds of the night, and (at times) for half of it, and (at times) for one third of it, and (so do) a group of those who are with you. And Allah measures the night and the day. He knows that you (O Muslims,) cannot do it in regular way; therefore He turned to you in mercy. Now, recite as much of the Qur‘an as is easy (for you). He knows that some of you may be sick, and others traveling in the land, seeking the grace of Allah, and yet others fighting in Allah‘s way. Therefore, recite as much of it as is easy. And establish Salah, and pay Zakah, and advance to Allah a goodly loan. And whatever good you will send ahead for your own-selves, you will find it with Allah much better in condition, and much greater in reward. And seek forgiveness from Allah. Indeed Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.

But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and He is the Source of Forgiveness.

Has not such a One (Who creates from an inanimate source) the power of raising the (physically and spiritually) dead to life.

He causeth whom He will to enter into his mercy. But for the evil doers, He hath made ready a grievous suffering [in the life to come].

In what other Word, beyond this (Qur’an), will they believe?

We have warned you of an imminent punishment on the Day when a man will see what he has done, and the kafir will say, ‘Oh, if only I were dust' (instead of being a responsible being with consciousness and free will).

Smoke/dust burdens/depresses/oppresses it. Those, they are the disbelievers, the debauchers/corrupters.

And you should not desire (otherwise) except that which Allâh the Lord of the worlds desires (for you).

The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah.

Have the kuffar been rewarded for what they did.

Those who believed with hearts impressed with the image of religious and spiritual virtues and with deeds imprinted with wisdom and piety; these are destined to a fortune that is elate, and they will be requited with a reward which will not end.

Know that God has preserved Qur’an in a master tablet far away from the people’s reach to be tampered with well-guarded (against corruption, distortion and destruction).

[Prophet], let the disbelievers be, let them be for a while.

The hereafter is more better and lasting: It was mentioned longtime ago in the scriptures revealed to Abraham and Moses.

Verily to us in their return. Then it is for Us to call them to account.

And come into My Paradise.

Upon them will be the Fire, enveloping them with closed exits.

God does not care about what a dreadful punishment His rebellious creatures knowingly earn for themselves.

Will surely be satisfied.

But the blessings of your Lord you shall speak of by sharing. ('Haddith' = Convey and share what you have learned and gained).

And turn all your attention to your Lord. (Remain focused on the Mission entrusted upon you by your Lord).

Is Allah not the Most just of all judges Who will compensate those who were wronged in life and were oppressed and their grievances no one ever redressed !

Nay, never be intimidated by a man like this! But submit completely in adoration to Divine Commands, and let every step of yours bring you nearer to your noble Goal (and closer and closer to your Lord)!

Peace! It is a Message of Peace, and inevitably shall dawn a new Morning of Enlightenment.

Their reward from their Lord will be the gardens of Eden wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever. God will be pleased with them and they will be pleased with Him. This (reward) is for those who fear their Lord.

And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then.

They will find out) on that Day - their Lord is fully Aware of them.

It is a blazing Fire (for burning out all the dross that people collect by leading a sinful life in this world).

And then on that day (of Reckoning) you shall be called to account for the favours (bestowed upon you).

Except those whose hearts reflect the image of religious and spiritual virtues and their deeds wisdom and piety, who commended adherence to what is in conformity with truth and accords with reality and promoted the virtue of patience in their society.

(The flames of the Fire will rise) in (the form of) huge outstretched columns.

And thus He reduced them to rotten chaff (and in a similar way will they be ruined who would ever make an attack to destroy Ka`bah).

(The One) Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger).

The hypocrites may spend a lot of money to be known as charitable people, but they refuse to engage in small kindnesses (say Hi to the doorman, smile to their low level employees, buy a burger to the hungry man in the street, etc. etc. etc.)

As to your enemy who bore malice to you; it is he and not you who shall be cut off all hope and posterity and drown in shame. He will be denied the praise of his name to fame.

"You have your religion (with whatever it will bring you), and I have my religion (with whatever it will bring me)".

So glorify your Lord with His praises and extol His name and ask His protection. Surely, He is Oft-Returning (with grace and mercy).

Upon her (long) neck she will have a rope of palm-fibers.

Say, "He is Allah, the One and Only.

And counter to the evil generated by the envious when he feels envy at the superior advantages of others".

whether from among the Jinn or Mankind.
